Moved by Faith:
The Stewardship Committee has been
busy planning fundraising events that will help us
achieve our financial goal to move our pastor once he
has been called. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to
$30,000. The money will go toward travel costs
involved in the call interview and moving expenses.
Here are some additional ways
you can help:
$5.00 Sunday - Takes
place the first Sunday of each month. Each
congregation member is encouraged to give at least $5 on
that Sunday.
Estate/Will Planning -
Pat Rawnsley is continuing to donate his attorney
services by offering to do estate/will planning for
congregation members. 100% of the proceeds go to
the "Moved by Faith" fund. If you are
interested in these services please contact Pat
Rawnsley's office at (360) 754-1222 to set up an
appointment. Please make sure to identify yourself
as a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Penny Jars - Start
collecting your pocket change. During the month of
August we will have a coin drive for Moved by Faith.
Put your spare change, coins found in the washing
machine or dryer (no lint please), those pennies you've
been collecting into the jars. We'll announce the
tally at the end of the month.
