Thank you for looking into Faith Lutheran School. If you are reading this, you are thinking about beginning (or continuing) a private school education for your child. It isn't easy to decide on a school, particularly when there is a financial commitment involved. I'm very proud of our school and I'd like to share with you some of the reasons that families choose Faith Lutheran. Many families enroll at Faith Lutheran because of our Christian focus. Our students are reminded daily of the Lord's unconditional love for them, and they see that love reflected in their teachers. They learn grace, kindness, and forgiveness. When they have concerns, they are able to join their classmates in prayer, as they take their worries to God. They come to know Jesus as their best friend and they learn to turn to Him when the world seems harsh. They develop a Christian foundation that expands and enriches a Sunday School experience. Some families are at Faith Lutheran for academic reasons. We have a challenging curriculum and work hard to finish our core subject textbooks every year. Our students become responsible young people because they are expected to work hard and be accountable for their assignments. Our graduates enter junior high more than prepared for their new schools, and most join honors programs. Some families stay at Faith Lutheran for the family atmosphere. Our youngest and oldest students know one another. A 6th grader is quick to assist a preschooler. When students are absent, they are missed. All of the teachers are acquainted with the children in the school and treat them as their own. The teachers pray together for families in their struggles and in their joys. Finally, many families find Faith Lutheran a safe alternative to public school. There is close supervision and misbehavior is noticed. Our students are not perfect, but they are coached as to God's expectations for their behavior. When they do misbehave, they are corrected and forgiven. If you would like more information about our school, please visit the school or contact me. Above all, ask God to guide you in your decision. He has a plan for you and your family. |
