ABOUT FAITH LUTHERAN
Faith Lutheran Church is one of approximately 6,000 congregations belonging to the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS), the second largest Lutheran church body in the U.S. We claim the confessional heritage of the Reformation and the Lutheran Confessions by proclaiming salvation and forgiveness as the free gifts of God for all people. We believe the Bible to be the true Word of God and understand the main work of the church today is to help people follow Jesus and become like Him. OUR HISTORY
Originally a mission of Trinity Lutheran (Olympia), our first church service was held at an elementary school in 1963. In 1965, we moved into the newly built church building that we currently call home. Over the years, Faith Lutheran's ministries and outreach grew as we added a school, childcare and community center to our campus.

Our logo to the upper left shows what makes Faith Lutheran a unique and vibrant place. Each "block" represents Faith’s four main ministries -- church, school, childcare and community center -- all of which are centered around the cross of Jesus. The interwoven circle represents our common mission of making disciples. Together, this 4-in-1 arrangement means we are well-positioned to:

worship, fellowship, learn and serve as a body of believers,

teach children knowledge, life skills and Christ-centered values,

support and equip parents in caring for their children,

provide a place for people in the community at large to meet, play and celebrate.
If you look even closer, you’ll notice the blocks form two people who are facing each other. This arrangement reminds us that we are designed for life together. Life is all about relationships and through discipleship we want to encourage strong and loving relationships with God and each other. We affirm the importance of healthy marriages and sound parenting.
